Built in 1922 by the Italian architect Giulio Mongeri, who was inspired by the elegant Milanese palazzos, Maçka Palas is one of the finest buildings in the city. Mongeri’s other well-known works in Istanbul are the Italian Embassy Building in Maçka and St. Antoine Church on Istiklal Street. Maçka Palas housed many famous historical figures, including poets, writers, composers and journalists, between 1922 and the opening of Park Hyatt Istanbul – Maçka Palas in 2008.
The stylish hotel houses a total of 90 generously sized deluxe rooms with an average size of 59 square metres, including five Park Suites, two Terrace Suites one Executive Suite, one Diplomatic Suite and a Presidential Suite which are ornamented with nostalgic Istanbul photos taken by award winning Turkish Photographer Ara Güler.

The lounge Restaurant provides all day dining service, including breakfast and offers a variety of Turkish & Mediterranean cuisine combined with qualified selections of wine. The Lounge Bar is a meeting point and a rendezvous spot, serves unique experiences for wine addicts of Istanbul with one of the widest wine tinder of the town.

The Food and Beverage Department pays close attention to refresh our menus with seasonal and fresh foods that are gathered through local suppliers to maintain the crispness and tastiness. As our brand motto suggests ‘Luxury is personal’ and therefore, we always take the personal choices of our guests as a priority and customize the meals and drinks we serve according to our guests wants and needs.
